I made the mistake of first going to a local chain store to buy the best table they had in stock. It didn't take long during assembly of that table to see that I had made a big mistake (cheap materials, parts not fitting well together, hours to assemble, etc.) I just wasn't happy, and decided it was worth any hassle necessary to return it.

It was then I found this site and this table (the F5). Now this table was the real deal. Easy to assemble. Very durable materials. Hundreds of dollars cheaper than the local specialty stores! This table will outlast both me and my boys. Yes, it's more expensive than those tables at the chain stores, but it's so worth it.

If there's one complaint I have, it's the difficulty of attaching the men to the rods. I have a feeling they could make things a lot easier for people if they came up with some sort of guide or widget that would hold the players in place over the hole when you're trying to hammer in the pins. Still, if that's as bad as it gets, things aren't so bad.

Oh yeah, you may need a few friends to help you carry the table around. It's NOT a job you can handle by yourself.

Based on the recommendation of a worker, we decided to purchase a foosball table for work. We first purchased a cheap one [$] from [...]. To my surprise, everyone loved it but it couldn't take the pounding of dozens of games a day. We decided to purchase a higher quality one when I found the F-5. I must say its quality is outstanding. We have been using it daily for two months and you could hardly tell. The game play is excellent. I love the rattle board sound that gets made when you score a hard shot. The only negative I can give is very minor. On the cheap table, it had a ball return on each side. The F-5 only has one so you always have to hand the ball to the other player. Although one return works great for practicing. I also thought I wasn't going to like the abacus scorer which only goes to 5. On our cheap table it had a numbered scorer that went to 10. I really thought that was going to be an issue an almost kept me from buying the F-5 (very dumb - I know). As it turns out, because the quality of play is so good, it takes a long time to get to 5. Since we play on breaks at work, we can't have games that last too long. The abacus works great and I now prefer it. Plus, if you really want to go to 10, the abacus will work fine. It has one colored disk so you can go one way for 5 and back for the next 5.Also, kudos to NetShops on my purchase. [...]I can't imagine a better table from a better company.

Solid foosball table. Arrives assembled except rods and legs. Can be set up by one person, but two makes it easier. Did a lot of research prior to purchasing table and this was a great price for the quality and features.
