i bought this halex table because i wanted a decent, heavy table that would look good in my basement/gameroom. the table has good weight, is actually quite handsome, and plays pretty well, although i'm going to buy the tackier tornado brand foosballs instead of the hard plastic balls the table comes with. My 13 year old son who has nothing to compare the table to loves it. No deadspots to speak of thanks to the somewhat unusual 3 man goalie rod which gets the balls out of the corners effectively and affords some shots that i never had with a one man goalie.it was fairly easy to assemble but it did take two of us 3 full hours to carefully complete and there were numerous times that i wished i had smaller hands.Complaints: rods are hollow not solid steel as represented. this is going to be a problem down the road and the only way to change them now is to disassemble the whole table. no leg levelers were included despite representation. men are not balanced, but rather are feet heavy.overall, I can live with it, but if i were doing it again, i'd buy the less attractive (imho), but better quality tornado whirlwind.
