This piece was the perfect choice for our game room; it has style and looks very expensive. The negative is that it took two of us four hours to put together because the instructions do not have any words, just a couple of small, simple diagrams referencing the many different size screws that came with the table. Although the main screws that hold the four sides together didn't quite do the job (in fact we ended up with a 1/8 inch gap on one side) - by the time we attached the legs, the piece stood solid. You will also need small hands to get into the space needed to tighten the screws for the four main sides.
Give yourself a bit of time for assembly and you should be fine; you will be very pleased with both your ability to put it together and the way it looks and plays!

I got this gift as a surprise birthday present for my husband, and he LOVES it. I will admit that someone else assembled it for me so I can't really speak to the difficulty of doing so -- it took the person about two hours to do it by himself, but it was well worth the wait. [...] It is so incredibly solid and heavy (200+ lbs?) and looks absolutely gorgeous in our den/game room. He and friends have already played a few games on it and have nothing to complain about in terms of its function. They all comment what a beautiful piece of furniture it is, in addition to being a great foosball table.

We love our new foosball table. It is beautiful - definitely a true mahoghany color. It's heavy and sturdy. Easy to put togehter - the most time spent was putting the little men on the poles. When purchasing items, I need everything to look good (I'm very particular) my husband is very practical (the table needs to be solid/strong for a possible rough game). This table took care of both. The legs are solid - the entire table is solid. I also love the cherry playing field - nothing on the design was skimped on. A great buy for the price - you definitely get your monies worth!
